Land Rover Defender - The Rhino Whisperer

We were asked to join the team on this powerful, documentary style film for Land Rover Defender and wildlife conservationists Tusk. Defender and Tusk have maintained an enduring 20-year partnership and sought to tell a story inspired by the true-life tale of a little girl and her ambition to one day become a head ranger, protecting the African black rhino. Our creative partners at Accenture Song invited us to bring a fresh perspective on sound – the aim was to avoid anything that felt like a commercial. Accordingly, our sound design and final mix focused on restraint, seeking to capture the scale of the animals and the quiet strength of a woman who strove to protect them.
